Today’s smiling faces travel photo is of a cute Khmer girl cheekily sticking out her tongue at me during my visit to the Temples of Angkor, Cambodia. I’ll never forget this little girl because she was so playful and at ease around me even though I just encountered her for a brief moment. Instead of being shy around the camera (like most children) she boldly stuck out her tongue and radiated a wonderfully authentic grin. This is a travel photo from the Temples of Angkor, Cambodia.

I think there is an untold story here. I think you tried to get a photo of her picking her nose, but she foiled you and is now sticking her tongue at you. She got you Nomadic Samuel.

I love it! We also met a cheeky little girl at Angkor Wat – she was trying to sell us some bracelets, and somehow she succeeded
