This was taken in Bitung, Indonesia as I was waiting for the boat to cross over to Lembeh Island. These kids were hanging around a pirated DVD/CD booth hoping to get a chance to play a video game. When they spotted me, they came right over and plunked themselves down next to me. They loved hamming it up, and were over the moon when I gave them Canada pencils and stickers. The only English they spoke was “Hello” and “Mister” and were genuinely confused that I did not understand their questions in Indonesian. There were two| girls there as well, but they were far too shy to be in front of the camera. Not so much of a problem for these little fellas.
Today’s guest photo is a generous contribution from one of my favourite travel bloggers, Man on the Lam. Raymond, offers up some of the best travel stories out there and isn’t afraid to throw in a healthy dash of humour and sarcasm from time to time. Additionally, considering checking out one of his new travel projects Travel Globe and without hesitation follow him on twitter.
