About

http://smilingfacestravelphotos.com :

My name is Samuel Jeffery & I’m a confessed travel addict.  It’s possible some of you new to this site may already know me from my flagship site Nomadic Samuel.

Having spent six consecutive years on the road, I’ve experienced a lot:  from the good to the bad and everything in between.  However, the better part of my experiences have been overwhelmingly positive and the majority of people I’ve encountered on the road have been generous and kind spirited.

My intention with this site is to share with you those splendid moments where the people I’ve met are radiating a wonderful smile.

Happy Faces Travel Photos is a site I hope will put a smile on your face too 🙂

Come back frequently for a daily travel photo & occasional travel video of nothing less than grins.

If you are a travel blogger, backpacker or fan and would like to submit a smiling faces travel photo from your own personal collection (of locals or of yourself) click here:  share your smiling faces travel photo.

I’m loving the idea of ‘smiling faces’. There is so much turmoil in the world and the media show only sad or fearful faces. The concept of smiling faces brings the world back down to earth, and the pics are so uplifting.

I love these photographs. I immediately started browsing my own collection, thinking of sending you one..but then discovered you rather do not get smiling images from others :). Let me know if I can still send you a nice pic I have. It’s actually something I always try too look out for when I am traveling. Sometimes I only discover afterwards that people in a picture are not smiling, which makes the image much less attractive than I had previously thought….

Keep it up and keep making us smile 🙂

Just discovered the site and while this post may be a few years old, the world is in need of smiles just as much today, so I say good on you and thanks for the inspiration! I am also going to check out Nomadic Sam as we are just about to start travelling full time.
